Joey started on a roof in high school.While most teenagers were inside classrooms, Joey was outside in the Florida heat laying shingles, learning what hard work actually feels like. Long days. Early mornings. No shortcuts. That’s where Joey built his foundation — not just in roofing, but in discipline. What began as a job turned into something bigger. Joey didn’t just want to swing a hammer — he wanted to understand the entire job. How projects are managed. How crews operate. How to protect clients and deliver work that lasts. That drive led Joey to earn a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management at FGCU while working full-time in the field. At 21 years old, Joey became a licensed Roofing Contractor — one of the youngest in the state. He later earned his Residential Contractor license, expanding his ability to take on full-scope residential construction, remodeling, and roofing projects. Over time, Joey moved from laborer to running projects, gaining hands-on experience in both residential and commercial construction. After years of learning the business from the ground up, Joey founded Coast to Coast Contracting and Roofing with a simple standard: Do the job right. No excuses. Today, Joey leads projects with the same mindset he had on the roof in high school — show up early, communicate clearly, and stand behind the work. Coast to Coast was built on grit, accountability, and the belief that reputation matters more than anything else. From laying shingles to leading crews and running his own company, the mission has stayed the same: Work hard. Protect the client. Deliver quality that lasts.
